What Sovereign technology is

Sovereign technology is a system for integrating the finish directly into the raised access floor panel that eliminates the visible PVC edges between panels — the conventional solution that inevitably reveals the 600×600 mm modulation of the installation.

With Sovereign, the finish — HPV Lider, carpet, natural wood, porcelain, granite or others — is integrated into the panel without visible perimeter edges, creating a continuous, uninterrupted surface that does not reveal the modular nature of the underlying system.

The visual result is that of a continuous floor. The technical reality is that of a fully accessible raised access floor system, panel by panel, without adhesive and without special tools.

Why visual continuity matters technically and architecturally

The 600×600 mm modulation is an inherent characteristic of any raised access floor system. In conventional installations, that modulation is visible — the PVC edges separating each panel create a grid that, regardless of the quality of the chosen finish, constantly reveals that there is a technical infrastructure beneath.

In projects where the floor forms part of the architectural concept — museums, cultural spaces, luxury hotel lobbies, premium corporate headquarters, representative educational spaces — that visible grid can compromise the design intent of a space that has been specified with millimetre precision in all its other elements.

Sovereign technology eliminates that compromise. The raised access floor ceases to be visually identifiable as such — and becomes simply a high-quality, continuous and homogeneous floor that also happens to be fully accessible.

Sovereign technology is available for GAMAFLOR PAC and BANK systems, and is compatible with a wide range of finishes — HPV Lider, factory-applied carpet, natural wood, porcelain and granite, among others.

It is particularly relevant in large-surface installations where the visual continuity of the finish is a priority design criterion — and where the modularity of the system cannot interfere with the spatial coherence of the project.
