In education, space plays a crucial role in the learning process. How we design and use our educational environments can significantly influence the quality of teaching and students’ well-being.

In this article, we will explore how raised access floors are revolutionizing educational institutions, providing flexibility, energy efficiency, and a conducive environment for technology.

Benefits of Raised Access Floors in Educational Centers

Flexibility in Design In a world where educational needs are constantly changing, raised access floors allow for quick adaptation of classrooms and common areas. This level of flexibility is essential to keep up with pedagogical trends.

Energy Efficiency Efficient management of HVAC systems is crucial for creating a comfortable and sustainable learning environment. Raised access floors can contribute to energy savings in educational institutions.

Cable and Technology Management Technology is an integral part of modern education. These floors facilitate cable organization, lighting systems, and audiovisual technology in classrooms, creating a more effective learning environment.

Success Stories in Educational Centers

Loyola University in Seville

Aiming to be a sustainable and energy-efficient building, approximately 2,000 square meters of Gamaflor raised access flooring were used in classroom and office areas, which predominantly constituted the main building’s uses. The chosen system was Gamaflor PAC 35/05 with factory-finished Linoleum, in a marbled light gray tone. This raised access floor system was the most suitable for the project due to its versatility for large surfaces, such as office and classroom areas.

Through the selected raised access floor system, all electrical and network installations were distributed, resulting in an optimal distribution of connection points with minimal waste.
