VEGA REY OFFICE COMPLEX. SPAIN
RAISED ACCESS FLOOR FOR OFFICES
The VEGA DEL REY office complex consists of 4 buildings with an approximate area of 6,000m2 each, adding up to 24,000m2 where world-class technology companies such as Microsoft or Fujitsu are housed.
The design of the building is a modern technological center with high capacity to develop business in the areas of telecommunications, energy and research for the most important companies nationally and internationally.
The modularity requirements of the building, easy access to wiring, electric installations, voice and data facilities at any point of the different floors make it necessary to use the raised access floor technology, thus providing all the advantages of this type of flooring.
From the initial design phase until the completion of the project POLYGROUP has been a key partner in the various interior finishes providing our know how and technical support both in the specification phase and the installation of the system.
In this office complex the raised access floor system employed has been the reference GAMAFLOR PAC 35/05 which is formed with panels of high density chipboard, galvanized steel on the bottom and top coating of vinyl antistatic type LIDER with 2.5 mm thickness. This raised pavement panel is supported on a structure of pedestals and stringers of steel obtaining a height of 200 mm for the canalization of installations under the plenum.
The Vega Rey complex is the most important technological area of the city for the development of new companies and start ups. The raised access floor system POLYGROUP has been selected for the great capacity and versatility in these areas, being that the different buildings need a low maintenance and can easily change the distribution in the compositions of the offices.
