RAISED ACCESS FLOOR FOR AIRPORT TERMINALS
The new Lomé-Tokoin airport, also known as Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport, is located in Lomé, capital of Togo in the Gulf of Guinea. Lomé is the administrative and industrial center of the country, as well as its main port, making this airport the main one of the African country.
As a natural consequence of the project, most of the users of the building were determined, and POLYGROUP provided a raised access floor system GAMAFLOR PAC 35/05 with porcelain finish applied from factory, providing an important exclusivity to the project.
The project was developed both in the design phase and in the execution of the installation by the local company AFRO GLOBAL, with great experience and reputation in the West African market and POLYGROUP’s collaborator in the country.
The modularity of the raised access floor makes it easy to access the electrical, data and voice installations contained in the plenum created by the elevated structure, as well as providing a safe passage for them throughout the airport.
POLYGROUP has participated in numerous projects on the west African coast supplying raised access floor systems in Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Angola; These projects together with the new Togo International Airport are important references for the firm in Africa.
