112 EMERGENCY CONTROL CENTER. SPAIN

RAISED FLOOR FOR CONTROL CENTER
The new Center 112 Extremadura, Spain becomes a “global” reference. Following the commitment to become more effective in accident and emergency services, the new headquarters of 112 Extremadura are situated in the area of ‘Mérida Third Millennium’ at the capital of Extremadura. This building has developed rapidly to become a “national reference” on accident and emergency care.
The architectural features of the building follow the commitment made to minimize energy waste in a place that operates 24 hours a day. Thus, the building serves as a porous stone whith shaded patios, spaces and levels of open decks that allow a natural temperature control.
The materials used in the inside are recycled and systematized, while partitions are made with safety or translucent glass, according to underserved areas, which are also removable. The design and construction management was carried out by GAP ARCHITECTS.
Building facilities run accessible through ceilings and floors and there is absolute control over all building automation (temperature, lighting, networking, emergency, etc.). POLYGROUP supplied this outstanding project providing the raised access floor GAMAFLOR PAC 35/05 finished from factory in conductive vinyl CONDUCTILE SUPER-OR used for proper management of electrostatic discharge of the building.
