ACCESS FLOOR PANELS
TYPES & APPLICATIONS
Raised access floor panels have adjusted and evolve throughout time parallel to the development of new construction systems and techniques worldwide. The evolution of construction materials has made mayor progress to more eco-friendly and environmentally friendly solutions, reducing the pollution impact the construction market has. As a result of this progress, access floor panels can be found available in the market in a few standard materials, such as high-density chipboard, calcium sulfate, glass, steel, and cementitious panels.
Alongside with the standard access floor panels, we can find the airflow panels, which serve a different purpose within the raised floor system. Commonly manufactured in steel, these airflow panels can be easily integrated into the system by replacing another access floor panel to provide a punctual ventilation spot.
Each class of access floor panel responds to a specific need in the market; materials determine the application of the tiles, given that glass and steel, for example, are two very different materials. Nevertheless, each access floor panel has the advantage to fit in the same access floor system, which praises the versatility of these construction systems.
The material of the access floor tile should be determined by the needs of the system, such as load resistance, weight, aesthetics, and many more determined factors taken into account in the design phase.
In Polygroup, we strive to keep up with the market innovations to provide a high-end service. As a result, we have developed two main families of access floor panels: high-density chipboard core panels denominated Gamaflor PAC and Gamaflor BANK families, and Gamaflor Full Steel panels composed of a steel-cement core. These two ranges of products respond to an experienced journey in the market, aiming to provide the best quality products at the reach of all our customers and clients.
